Our typing courses are aimed at raising your typing speed to at least 45wpm, but it can
take you to a higher speed if desired .
This course is suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to those looking to refresh or improve their skills.
Being a good typist is a vital attribute of a successful secretary. The majority of firms look closely at candidates’ typing ability when making recruitment decisions.
The course times are very flexible and can be done in conjunction with a full-time job or any of our Secretarial courses. This is because students are allowed to use the machines at any time the centre is open (six days a week most of the year) or log in remotely for typing practice; audio typing needs to be practiced at the centre as it involves use of hardware (foot pedals, headsets etc)
The course lasts for one month but can be extended on appplication. We need a maximum of twenty four hours notice to get you started but generally you can just come in and train.
