OBJECTIVES
To provide students with quality background training in legal industry structure and basic legal concepts; this course is more focussed on the practical application of a Legal Secretary's duties.
Although this course is studied remotely, students are guided throughout by a qualified tutor from beginning to finish and thus will benefit from the same assistance which is given in-house.
ADDITIONAL ADD-ONS
If the student wishes to obtain an overall Diploma or to gain deeper knowledge of areas such as Criminal/Civil Litigation, Commercial Law, Corporate Law or Family Law, this can be obtained by undertaking at least two additional individual legal modules.
The course also includes a variety of assessments including competence accreditation in related IT training packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc, typing and audio skills.
In short, it confirms what an employer needs to know at core about a potential candidate's skills, so that their CV will be prioritised in any job assessment environment.

COURSE REQUIREMENT
Some general secretarial experience with established skills in MS Word and/or quality secretarial training.
